Store Managers are our “#1 Leaders"! The job expectations for Managers reflect their responsibilities as key management members.  These managers are responsible for everything that occurs in their stores including the sales, service, operational and personnel functions of the store.  These managers must demonstrate leadership and must communicate with the employees they directly supervise as they strive to achieve maximum store profitability and customer satisfaction.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
 
Personnel/Staff Supervision
  • Interview/hire store employees based on the assessment of staffing needs, the labor budget, and labor costs
  • Train new employees in the areas of product knowledge, customer service, selling skills, as well as the Company's policies and procedures
  • Stimulate productivity, solid employee performance, and employee retention through strong leadership, effective planning of work, administration of fair standards, solid management techniques, and promoting employee morale and commitment
Sales Generation and Customer Service
  • Create and implement programs, techniques and processes to maximize sales of needed and/or recommended services
  • Achieve store goals for sales and profits while maximizing customer satisfaction
  • Strategize with and make recommendations to the District Manager about sharing best practices, sales training and productivity improvement
Store Presentation
  • Insure the store is clean and properly merchandised at all times
  • Monitor the maintenance of company inventory standards
  • Direct subordinates in the receipt, inventorying, display, stocking, organizing, proper storage of inventory, and performing housekeeping tasks
  • Supervise the set-up of inventory presentations as necessary
 Operations
  • Control payroll and other expenses
  • Consult and strategize with District Manager regarding labor productivity, maximizing sales, profits and customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Standards, the Bureau of Automotive Repair and company safety rules within the department.
  • Consult with district manager about sales trends and forecasting.  Make recommendations about future sales policies, service policies, and company strategy.
  • Responsible for sales and making the daily sales forecast
 ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS
 
  • Work to improve the profitability of the store.
  • Strategize with and make recommendations to District Manager, Corporate personnel, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Human Resources.
  • Directly supervise sales and service employees.
Requirements
 
  • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience
  • Minimum 3 years of face to face sales experience
  • Automotive knowledge required (personal knowledge acceptable)
  • Management within Automotive after-market service industry a plus
  • HS Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred
  • Must be familiar with working in a fast paced, sales driven environment
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication required
  • Excellent leadership and problem solving skills required
  • Must have demonstrated ability to multi task, organize and accomplish responsibilities in a fast paced environment

The EZ Lube Technician is a customer service liason with vehicle service aptitude, great self-motivation and pride in a job done well. Technical training will be provided by EZ Lube.

Technicians Essential Duties Include:

  • Greeting customers and explaining services offered
  • Entering customer information into computer to review vehicle history
  • Driving vehicles in/out of the bay
  • Conducting a thorough service review to inform the customer of the recommendations
  • Performing services on vehicles to help maintain customer’s vehicle
  • Performing courtesies on vehicles to WOW the customer
  • Escorting customers to and from vehicle
  • Providing excellent customer service in a professional manner

Job Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

The EZ Lube Cashier is a customer service liason with vehicle service aptitude, great self-motivation and pride in a job done well. Technical training will be provided by EZ Lube.

Cashier's Essential Duties Include:

  • Driving vehicles in/out of bay
  • Cashing out customers and informing them of the services performed
  • Updating customer information in computer
  • Offering EZ Rider Program to customers for future discounts
  • Performing courtesies on vehicles to WOW the customer
  • Escorting customers to and from vehicle
  • Answering phones and light clerical work
  • Providing excellent customer service in a professional manner

District Manager Southern California

Directs operations through a team of managers.  Ensures increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower.  A District Manager will spend approximately 80% of his/hers in stores to oversee and assist in growing the business.  

 

SUMMARY:   

  • Total supervisory responsibility for all stores in assigned zone, including, but not limited to sales profits, gross margin, expense control, customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Effectively communicates and instills to all Team Members at all times the company vision, culture and values.
  • Must complete all required training material, attend all scheduled company meetings, and should achieve sales, payroll and profit goals in conformance with company strategy and goals.
  • Directs compliance of managers and Team Members with established company policies, procedures, and standards such as safekeeping of company funds, property and personnel and grievance practices.
  • Reviews and analyzes operational records and reports of store managers to project sales and to determine store profitability and other business related measures.
  • Analyzes any outstanding operational issues, reviews potential options, and champions the implementation of appropriate changes while keeping in line with company goals and objectives.
  • Coordinates sales and promotional activities of store managers in accordance with company guidelines. Must be able to search out promotional opportunities in order to represent the company in a positive manner to enhance market share within the community and develop community involvement. 
  • Assist store managers in hiring, training and developing Team Members to assure stores are operated according to company policies and procedures.  

 

Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent preferred
  • 3-5 years of management related experience
  • 3 + years of retail sales/service experience required in a multi-unit environment
  • Knowledge of the principles of the automotive service  industry strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record in meeting sales and gross profit goals.
  • Excellent customer service skills required. Ability to interact with all levels of Team Members.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and written communication skills required. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) a PLUS!
  • Proficient with MS Work, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean DMV record. Drug Screen and Background Check Required
